I started listening to Podcasts more in August and September. A few of my favorites are Inside Health, Quiet: the power of introverts, and Science Vs. I like to listen to podcasts because I commute to school. They give me something to focus on while on the train.
I picked up some Arnica gel from Whole Foods one day because I am having a lot of joint pain and headaches. I was going to try Tiger Balm but I don’t like the smell or tingly feeling it gives. Arnica gel doesn’t really have a smell and just gives a slight cooling feeling. I really think it has been working well for me.
I have been wanting to learn how to metal stamp for a while now. I finally tried it this in August. I sat in our basement and stamped for like an hour or two. I messed up a lot at first but I got the hang of it. I think it is really fun. If you want to see something I made, go check out my Instagram for a picture.
If you have been following me for a while you would know that I love journaling. I try and journal every night but I usually end up journaling every couple of nights unless I do something really interesting during the day. Here’s a link to my How to Journal while Depressed post. I even bought a couple more notebooks to journal in this month. One is gold and black stripes and the other has an owl on it.
Vegan Protein Shakes
I have been looking for a good protein shake that is also vegan for a few months now. My mom found a Kids Protein Powder called Olly Kids in Chipper Chocolate at Ross. I mix about half the packet with about 4 oz. of water and 4 oz. of soy milk. I think it actually tastes good. I mean it is meant for kids so that probably helps. I ended up getting a full container because I liked it so much.
